Nick Dexter
Senior Director and Head of Utilities
Nick is a Chartered Town Planner with over 15 years’ experience in the land and planning sector working on a range of energy infrastructure projects. Nick joined Ardent in 2018 from National Grid’s land and development team where he spent 8 years as a consents officer leading a team promoting nationally significant infrastructure projects and two years as a DCO liaison Officer, a role which saw him engaging with promoters of DCOs who interacted with National Grid’s assets. His experience includes working in the public and private planning sector in a variety of roles ranging from approving planning applications to managing a team consenting major infrastructure projects.
Nick has brought to Ardent a range of planning, utilities and national infrastructure project experience and will be able to assist in driving forward our growth aspirations in the utilities and renewables sectors of our business.
