Martin Williams

Martin is Director of Renewables for England and Wales and has operated in the renewables sector since 2010. His significant experience in the renewables sector has seen him work on onshore wind, solar, energy storage, and vehicle charging schemes. Martin’s early career saw him serve as a Geographic Technician in the Royal Engineers, before his 7-year period working for an onshore wind developer where he supported the projects team, lead on-site screening, developed appraisals, landowner approaches and legal agreements, planning and consenting, and worked on over 2GW of onshore wind development. 

Since 2019 Martin worked as an Associate Partner at Carter Jonas as part of the energy team. He supported both developers and landowners in progressing energy developments across the UK and was involved with over 15GW of energy projects helping to support both developers and landowners progress their developments.
