Charlotte Potts

Charlotte has over eight years’ experience in land referencing for major regeneration, transport, and energy projects.  She has supported projects from inception through to implementing powers and has gained a broad understanding of the requirements for Development Consent Orders, Town and Country Planning Act Orders, Acquisition of Land Act Orders, Transport and Works Act Orders.   

Charlotte has an excellent understanding of the land referencing process and production of application documents having supported the application of over 18 CPO, DCO and TWA schemes.  Charlotte is highly competent in leading teams through the land referencing process. This comprises, advising clients on Order Limits, production of acquisition documents, analysis, and interpretation of Land Registry information, negotiating survey access, compilation and quality assurance of numerous Books of Reference, Land Plans, Crown Land Plans, Special Category Land Plans, advising on considerations of legislation, landowner engagement and service statutory notices as well as implementing powers.
