Ardent are appointed by Chelmsford City Council to progress private treaty negotiations of the acquisition of interests on two commercial industrial estates within the regeneration scheme boundary.  The scheme is looking to redevelop one of the final areas of industrial land remaining on the River Chelmer canal close to the centre of Chelmsford.

Having undertaken a year of engagement and negotiations with interest holders on site, Ardent have recently advised that the Council begin preparations to obtaining CPO powers to enable the scheme to move forward.  This will require land referencing, providing Property Cost Estimates, advice on acquisition strategy and negotiation progression.  Support will also be provided in the preparation of the CPO moving forward.
