Jon Stott appointed as Group Managing Director

Ardent is delighted to announce the key appointment of Jon Stott as Group Managing Director.

Jon returns to Ardent, having previously spent nine years with the business between 2004 and 2013, and will now take up a strategic position with responsibility for business strategy and growth, and overseeing and supporting business development activities.

The appointment marks a significant milestone for what has been an exciting period of development for Ardent following recent expansion in both the Scottish and Irish markets and establishing a Geomatics and land surveying team to complement our existing services.

Jon joins Ardent from Gateley Hamer where he held the position of Managing Director and oversaw growth from 9 to over 70 employees during a six-year period, achieving 30%+ revenue growth year-on-year.

Jon has also served on the Board of the Compulsory Purchase Association, of which he was appointed Chairman in 2018-19.  He has also contributed to RICS Professional Statements and Guidance Notes and is an experienced and accredited Expert Witness.

On re-joining and taking up his newly appointed position at Ardent, Jon comments:
