Expansion of Ardent’s Senior Management Team

Ardent has recently expanded its senior management team and strengthened its UK leading compulsory purchase service. With the appointment of three CPO specialists at Director level; Charles Ashby, Mark Davey and Phillip Alliston.
Charles Ashby
Ardent have appointed Charles Ashby as a Technical Director in the Compulsory Purchase & Consents Directorate.
Charles is an experienced rural surveyor and joins the Milton Keynes office having worked in the industry for over 30 years. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Fellow of the Agricultural Association of Valuers (FAAV). He has worked as a Land Agent for a number of national firms, including Strutt & Parker and Savills. More recently, Charles worked for Dalcour Maclaren where clients included Severn Trent Water plc and the Environment Agency.
In his new role, Charles will use his valuable knowledge of rural surveying to contribute to Ardent’s Compulsory Purchase & Consents Directorate across a number of projects.
Mark Davey
Ardent have appointed Mark Davey as a Director in the London office. Mark is part of Ardent’s Compensation Directorate and specialises in compulsory purchase.
Mark has over 25 years’ experience of dealing withcompulsory purchase compensation and valuation. He has advised acquiring authorities, developers and claimants. He also has considerable experience in general valuation work, handling objections and negotiating complex acquisitions.
In his new role Mark will use is extensive knowledge of compulsory purchase surveying to contribute to Ardent’s rapidly growing Compulsory Purchase & Consents Directorate.
Phillip Alliston
Ardent have appointed Phillip Alliston as a Technical Director in the London office. Phillip is part of Ardent’s Compulsory Purchase and Consents Directorate. Phillip is an experienced surveyor and joins the London office having over 30 years’ experience in the property industry, the majority working for an acquiring authority.
Mostly recently, Phillip is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). Having worked for the Environment Agency, advising Area Directors on projects and land management throughout the South East, Phillip will prove to be an important member of Ardent’s Compulsory Purchase and Consents Directorate.
