Our role involved the provision of land referencing, land assembly, CPO valuation and CPO advice to both the Council and developer. The scheme was a mixed use development based around a community stadium for the relocation of Brentford Football Club, with associated retail and residential units. Ardent provided a comprehensive land assembly service to the Council, including key property advice to ensure the order was promoted efficiently and opportunities to secure deals were quickly converted. Ardent established a specific project team with relevant experience to lead the land assembly work stream and provided an expert at public inquiry.

Following the confirmation of the Order, Ardent implemented the powers and acquired land through the General Vesting Declaration (GVD) process. Colin Cottage, Managing Director of Compensation undertook an expert witness role at Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) in relation to the final outstanding claim.
